Scorpion 6 Knives Payment Plan
When Scorpion 6 Knives first began, we offered layaway and payment plans. Within that first year of business we ran into a multitude of issues with cancelled orders and disappearing clients which led to us having an unrelenting amount of debt invested in materials/tooling/hardware/consumables and no reliable way to pay the balance. For the following three years we would only allow full payment up front to place an order.
Scorpion 6 Knives is more established now, both in the community and as a company. We understand and acknowledge that a full payment upfront is a large commitment for something that can take over a year to receive. We are also aware of the growing trend of people collecting full payment upfront and never delivering the product, at least without a battle.
The Mission Plan:
Scorpion 6 Knives will now be accepting 50/50 payments on folding knife models (only when books are open for that model). The first 50% is due immediately to place the order and assign the knife to your account. This covers the cost of materials/tooling/consumables/packaging etc. The remaining 50% will be due before any customizing will begin. We will send out an e-mail to the address we have on file notifying you know prior to your knife being “On Deck”. It is at this time that we request that the remaining balance be paid. If the balance is not paid prior to or after receiving that e-mail, your build will be moved to the following batch. If the remaining balance has not been made by the second attempt in the next batch, the build will be considered a loss, you will forfeit your deposit and you will not be able to participate in a payment plan in the future.

*$50 Layaway charge to cover fees and supplementary organizational costs associated
* If payment is not made in full by the second attempt you forfeit the knife and your deposit. Period
*Finish options must be selected at the time of the first payment and cannot be changed
*Customers in good standing only (If you bailed/ghosted on a build before, the S6 Payment Plan is not for you)
